3. Earth –

This element encompasses characteristics like being workaholic, stubborn, hard-working, very productive, and hoarding of possessions. The signs that fall under this element are Virgo, Taurus, and Capricorn.

4. Air –

The air element is one of practicality, perception, and being logical and having brilliant analyzing abilities. The signs that fall under this element are Libra, Gemini, and Aquarius.

Here are some of the things that each sign in the separate elements groups do to ruin their relationships:

1. Fire Signs (Leo, Aries, Sagittarius)

You are generally proud and full of fiery passion. Your fundamental problem is your fiery temper.

You are passionate, but sometimes, you get all worked up. Your partner may tolerate it once or twice but if you keep throwing temper tantrums at the slightest provocation, then your quick-temper will be a threat to the relationship.

Another thing is, you are quite blunt and straightforward. This is appreciable, without a doubt, but sometimes you can be too harsh in the excuse of being genuine.

Truth has its place in relationships, but sometimes, you have to keep in mind that your partner deserves to be treated well too.

So, if you mention that you want to sleep with some famous celebrity, just to be real with your partner, he/she might get a bit disappointed; which is justified.

Even if you joke a lot, you must consider if others are getting hurt because of that. Your reckless nature is what makes you blurt out something that you should rather keep to yourself.

As a fire sign, you have a lot of passion for you. If you stand by something, you will keep your ground and be quite passionate about defending your position.

While that is admirable, you must allow the opinion of others too. If the conversation isn’t mutual, then your relationship is undoubtedly going to suffer.

2.  Earth Signs (Virgo, Taurus, Capricorn)

As Earth signs, you people are grounded.

You have a protective shield around you that keeps you strong and allows you to mix with people by maintaining reasonable personal boundaries.

But that shield that you have built around you is actually a result of trust issues from past experiences. It is completely understandable if you do not want to trust others blindly, but you can try trusting your partner.

Yes, it might seem like a major risk at first, but you have to make yourself a little bit vulnerable for the greater good.

Without a bit of vulnerability, your partner will not be able to understand you or what you are feeling in your soul. You will never be able to connect at greater lengths.

As an air sign, you like to give. You are like oxygen – the giver of life.

While that is definitely an admirable quality in you, you have to understand that anything done in excess is bad.

For you especially, you know that excess is harmful. You don’t express your opinions and sacrifice your feelings to prioritize other’s needs.

This naturally comes to you but is not very beneficial for the self. You have to understand that sometimes, you need to take care of your own. You must have your unique opinions, ideas, value system, and individual decision-making abilities.

Your partner also wants you to be independent and have your own voice. Now, you might be afraid that if you complain or be too dominant, your relationship will be hampered. Firstly, that’s unlikely. But most importantly, you may turn out to be the person who ends up resenting your partner.

Suppressing your genuine feelings for too long and acting as is expected of you can be self-degrading for you. One day this might lead to a wrong twist for the relationship.

4. Water Signs (Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces)

You have the right mindset but often, you get too emotional and carried away.

Your plans may be set up in a way for both your well being but in the end, you may end up hurting them because you will come off to them as arrogant and self-centered.

Now, you don’t have to blame yourself or your partner for this. It is something that comes naturally to you for your protective and caring nature.

The fact that you fail to realize is that you both are two separate individuals with separate mindsets. Allowing them to contribute their ideas and considering them before reaching a collective decision can help your partner understand you.

Sometimes, it can be difficult for you to understand the signs that your partners give and what it might mean. Relationships are hard work and whatever your zodiac sign is, you have to sacrifice something to strengthen your relationships. That sacrifice comes from the deep-seated need to change – to grow together.
