don’t always see the same things…
Change is what time brings!
The world is still the same,
It’s the traveller
who has changed the game.
With the world in hand,
we forget the world around.
Time, and the world,
go right on by while
we are being distracted.
You are free to choose
your preferred view.
You may not get another chance.
Times can change in the blink of an eye,
make sure you look up
before it passes you by.
Writers and artists
are able to see the world’s wonders
with their heads in the clouds,
while most of humanity
is blinded by technological light.
Why the effort?
When you have the ability
To see the world
At the tip of your fingers?
In olden days we looked at the views.
Modern day folk just check on their news.
Technology lets us
miss out on conversations,
the beauty of the world
and what else is going on around us.
In a world of technology,
we often neglect to appreciate
the beauty of nature that surrounds us.
Rational Akrofi Akuffo
Rather than live and enjoy the moment,
many captures the moment to enjoy it later.
Time travels so fast!
Don’t waste the journey on your phone.
Phyllis Snider Boyer
The world and how we view it
has changed drastically through the years.
One lost in the “glare” of the digital world;
others find “glee” in the real world.
What once was VIEWED
through a bigger window
is now BROWSED on a smaller one
You have the world to travel
and observe nature,
but you choose the virtual world
over the real world.
Siony Benemerito McCor
Don’t be so occupied with
what is happening in your electronic screen.
Take a glimpse of the world around you
for a change.
The same world has seen
in two different perspectives.
Found the technical pace,
Lost the serene beauty of nature…
Two faces of the same coin!
Don’t allow technology
to absorb you so much
that you miss the real beauties of the world
and our surroundings.
If you give too much attention
to the virtual world,
you will lose your sense of the real one.
