What lets people earn a big name in the world?

Do you think you can earn a big name in the world – just because you aspire to earn a big name?

Who does not aspire to earn a big name in the world?

Everybody, in his heart, yearns to earn a big name.

Let us look at some of the factors that should have led various people who are known to have earned a big name – to have earned a big name.

Shall we say – It is the family, in which we get born that lets us earn a big name?

Though, sometimes “Yes”, but not – as a rule!

Does the family in which we should have born – matter?

Let us look at some of the people who could have earned a big name even though they were born in a nondescript family.

  • Dhiru Bhai Ambani – the father of Mukesh Ambani.
  • Shahrukh Khan – the famous Indian film actor.
  • Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujam – the famous Indian mathematician.
  • Narendra Modi – the current prime minister of India.
  • Dale Carnegie – who authored the famous           book “How to Win Friends and Influence People”.
  • Jawahar Lal Nehru – the first Prime Minister of India after the independence of the country.

Except for Jawahar Lal Nehru – None of them!

Only Jawahar Lal Nehru could have earned a big name since he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

The rest of them – all were born in a nondescript family.

None else was born with a silver spoon in his life.

There are so many other people who were also born with a silver spoon in the world but all of them did not happen to have earned a big name.

Above all – to have born with a silver spoon in our life is not in anyone’s own hands.

So “Having born with a silver spoon in our life or not to have born with a silver spoon in our mouth” should not interest us.

In most of the cases, we don’t even know in which family the people who are known to have earned a big name – were born.

Let us look at some other factors that upsurge us so strongly that we get strongly burnt-up from inside to let out our angst go.

I may cite the case of the most celebrated Sanskrit poet Kalidas of Shakespearean fame, as it comes to my mind.

The case of the great Sanskrit poet Kalidas

It is well known that he had been tricked into getting married to the most literate and scholarly lady of the time out of their revulsion for her because she always excelled all the male pundits of the time, in all religious discourses, even though he was not a lettered man.

But she got so infuriated when she discovered that she had been fooled by his fellow-scholars to humiliate her that she had thrown him out of the window very contemptuously on their nuptial night itself, whereupon he pledged to become more scholastic than her.

Obviously, what happened in his life was not in his hands. He had not planned out such marriage.

However, it has to be noticed that what should have led Adolf Hitler to have done millions of Jews to death was also not in his hands though in both cases they retaliated to “angst”.

Angst of Hitler also had its roots in his anti-semitismic societal notions that seeped into his mind between 1908 and 1921 during the days he spent in Vienna, due to which he started disliking them when he noticed that they had acted more like traitors by charging disproportionate interests on loans during the economic downfall faced by Germany after the defeat in the First World War, in 1918.

That he should have lived in Vienna during the time when an anti-Semitismic wave swept across Vienna was also not planned by him, himself.

It was manoeuvred by the providence.

Though in both cases, they reacted to angst, we may say – in case of Kalidas, the angst worked as “nuclear fusion” but in case of Hitler, it worked as “nuclear fission”.

Now, let us look at some of the factors that are, very much, in our own hands.

The case of Hashem Al-Ghaili

Born in Yemen in the year 1990, Hashem Al Ghaili, a science communicator, best known for his infographics and videos about scientific breakthroughs posted on You Tube, which have garnered over 9 billion views across the world, has earned him a big name.

If you looked at his educational qualifications, he is a molecular biotechnologist just like anyone else. But what has brought him on the world map is his passion to let people know about the things that are highly fascinating yet they are not fully aware of them.

It boils down to the fact that a person can earn a big name if he has a passion of some sort that fascinates most of the people of the world.

The case of Cheiro

Born in Ireland in the year 1866, William John Warner, popularly known as Cheiro for his flair for cheiromancy, meaning palmistry earned a big name to him since he touched upon a subject most people are most fascinated about – “Do the lines etched on our palms tell us anything?”

The case of Dale Carnegie

Dale Harbinson Carnegie born in Missouri in the year 1888, is known worldwide for his two books – “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living”. Both books are on self-help. As admitted by Carnegie himself, he wrote the second book because he was one of the unhappiest lads in New York. So he started looking for the things that could have made him less worrisome.

It boils down to the fact that a person can earn a big name if he writes on a topic that may be of a common interest or may address the everyday nuances of living.

The case of Walt Disney

Born in Illinois in the year 1901, Walt Disney is well known the world over for the cartoon characters Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. He earned a big name as an innovative animator and won as many as 22 Academy Awards and had founded theme parks Disneyland and Walt Disney World. It is said that his artistic talent was sparked by a neighbouring doctor when he asked him to draw a drawing of his horse when he should have been hardly five years old.

The Disney Company, he had founded, has become one of the world’s largest entertainment conglomerates.

It boils down to the fact that we can earn a big name if we pursue and nurture our inborn talents.

It also boils down to the fact that we should cater to the fields that may be the most sought-after fields such as entertainment and amusement.

Thus the basic recipe for earning a big name is to have some passion in our life – such a passion that should burn like fire in our belly.

As long as your passion is burning like fire in your belly, worry you not.

It would, itself, ignite your will-power, your self-confidence and your power of determination to a level that would earn you a big name.

Whether you aspire or don’t aspire – does not make much difference.

But if the fire of passion burns in your belly – it works like a workhorse.

My Rendezvous With Life

My Rendezvous With Life

The treacherous waters of existence hail in their stride,As the beauty of sailing against the winds uproars in its ride.Benevolence in its yonder stirs the mirth of the true,Navigating the turbulent waves, death and I had a rendezvous.

I sought the beauty of the light that was unseen,In the depths of my muse, I found my world within.Life in its flair, trudged me into the emblems of the dark,The dreams that perspired in the seed embraced their death,As it was time for a new quest to embark.

Quaint whispers that echoed in their gallant stance,The jeers that surmounted the uncertainty galloped in their dance.Silencing the wind, bestriding the fall,I plunged into the entirety of my endeavours that call

The Beauty Of Gratitude In A World Full Of Cynicism

Ever acquainted with the phrase that the world that you exist in, the life that you embody dwells in the perception of the stance you hold for yourself. The beauty and the tragedy of life is that it is as beautiful as the optimistic lens of perception and as ugly as the pessimistic view of your being.

The strive of our endeavours and the constant effort to achieve the next massive milestone often drive us to the edges of insanity, to be in the consistent light of greatness we lose sight of the great strings of joy that bind our existence together. I Breathe In The Sauntering Air That Collapses My Being

I Breathe In The Sauntering Air That Collapses My Being

I breathe in the sauntering air that collapses my being,I breathe through the crevices of my existence unseen.Uncertainty in its yonder strikes in bolt on the scars that nobody sees,Redemption that loves, redemption that is free, find me in the depths of my poetry.

Tales of lust ridden in smeared touches that belie,Entreated with envy, the visions of victory lie.To be or not to be in a question that yet lies,For I yearn for a world where fond passion never dies.

Enclasped in the cage of the deemed duty,Bounded in her vows, she forgot she was a thing of beauty. In a realm we live, where amour in its truth fails to stand tall,She, tired of her existence, submerges herself into the beauty that her dreams enthrall.

Chaos in its uproar hails in its darkness
