What If You Wake Up Some Day, And You’re 65 Or 75

“Oh my God, what if you wake up someday, and you’re 65, or 75, and you never got your memoir or novel written; or you didn’t go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years because your thighs were jiggly and you had a nice big comfortable tummy; or you were just so strung out on perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid? It’s going to break your heart. Don’t let this happen.”

Whimsical and romantic by nature, I am always on the lookout for the next crazy adventure I can enjoy! I believe that life is not meant to be serious all of the time, and we should have fun as much as we can. Also, writing has always been more than a hobby for me.

  1. I used to be embarrassed by mother in law when we went swimming. She is big loud and makes no excuse for who she is. After reading this she has a very fulfilling life and she doesn’t care what she looks like in a bathing suit she just gets out there and does her own business. I wish I had the guts to do what she does
