Until Tomorrow

Everything around me looks blank
My head is empty and my heart it clanks
Nothing, I can really think of tonight
I tried it all but nothing seems alright
I tried to pick up a paper and a pen
But words were too stubborn even then
I tried to recollect in my mind the pictures through the day
But the lenses of my thoughts clouded and worn away
I ran my fingers and rubbed them clear and clean
But all I could see the darkness in the screen
I tried to look up my phone and relax my mind
To my drowsy eyes turned everything blind
I feel I can’t write a word tonight
To my thoughts, I need something to ignite
I hope I can and let this go
All I have to wait until tomorrow.
