Until Then

Until Then

I know you’ re sad, so I won’t tell you to
have a good day. Instead, I advise you
to simply have a day. Stay alive, feed
yourself well, wear comfortable clothes
and don’t give up on yourself just yet.
It’ll get better. Until then, have a day.

  1. Jennifer, some folks, particularly those who live with chronic depression, P.T.S.D. need to hold the words close. This season is also the time for high counts of suicide. Everyone are not privy to family or friends and as a result, they require sentiments which may speak to them. There are people who need to read it as not depressing, but rather a mission for them to accomplish for the day. Mindful.

  2. So hard to leave the sadness behind when nothing ever really changes……wish friends would understand this, they seem just to want to give pat answers which do nothing. Hopefully 2016 will be a good change

  3. thanks! i need that…yes, it's a sad day for me but getting mad or upset won't do anything good or positive.. still hoping to find it…wish it just got missed place. 🙁

  4. Lol. Wow. That's depressing just to read but a very encouraging message, nevertheless. Personally, I've left the sadness behind and I'm incredibly excited by all the possibilities that the future holds for me. I'm about as far from giving up as a person can be. I'm grateful to be single and enjoying the company of my real family, once again. Life is good except for needing to catch up on a little shut eye AGAIN.

  5. Thank you for this one. Feeling sad, the season warrants it for me. I appreciate and will write this one down in my journal for today. A reminder, "this too shall pass." Thanks again for seeming to know what to offer those of us who tend to need to read something which touches us exactly when we need it.
