To have it halfway is harder

“I don’t know why we all hang on to something we know we’re better off letting go of. It’s like we’re scared to lose what we don’t even really have. Some of us say we’d rather have something than absolutely nothing, but the truth is, to have it halfway is harder than not having it at all.”
— Meredith Grey

To have it halfway is harder to have nothing at all.
This goes for me too absolutely. Have always done things, wished for things totally or nothing at all.

  1. It is extremely difficult for some more than others. But the second part of the last sentence is so painfully true. Hard to face. If someone discovers a magic pill—-let me know. But I think it takes time and lots of prayer and daily mindfulness and self-empowerment/positive affirmations.

    1. But having something, or someone or a some place that is not mine fully is not something my mind accepts. If between something everything or nothing. My mind choses everything. No halfways to walk down
