An Open Letter To A Best Friend

Dear Best Friend,

I hope this letter will find you safe and healthy.

You whispered to him not so long ago that you can’t go on without him. Hell, no, you can. You are strong and brave. You can go through this.

I know that pain sears through your heart and that’s perfectly okay. Memories are fine- you couldn’t touch them, smell them or hold them and they will fade with time.

Remember your memories but don’t be afraid to make some more.

It’s time to open the window of your soul and let fresh air comes in, to free it to the ghost of the dark past.

It’s time to stop hiding in the dark. It has been so many years and the thought of meeting someone else is not even a consideration. Allow your heart to experience love.

Itโ€™s time to build the ability to create solitude in your loneliness. To build peace in your chaos, love in your hatred, happiness in your sadness and hope in your despair.

It’s time to stop looking for the monster under your pillow and dissolve your tears into laughter.

Itโ€™s time to hold your head up high, to come face to face with the truth and live a beautiful life without holding back.

Itโ€™s time to experience more happiness, more life, and more memories.

Itโ€™s okay. People we love don’t always stay in our lives.

They donโ€™t always stay and pour us goodnight kisses before we go to bed and showering us morning kisses the moment we wake up the next day. They donโ€™t always stay with us to have late night talks, the ones over a red wine or over a dinner. They donโ€™t stay forever and give us a hug, the one that goes all the way through the body and hugs the deepest soul. They donโ€™t always grow old with us. They donโ€™t walk down the aisle with us. They donโ€™t always die in our arms. They donโ€™t stay with us until the infinity runs out. And thatโ€™s okay.

After all, this is the kind of life God has designed for us. The one that is asymmetrical and they donโ€™t follow certain patterns of order, the one that has its own intricate designed pattern- circling, moving and returning anew. Notice the starry pattern in the sky at night and the pattern that the wind makes in the barren area of a landscape and the pattern of the raging waves of the ocean because tomorrow it wonโ€™t be the same anymore. Nothing stays in the same pattern forever. What was already happened in your life has meant to happen, perhaps to show you the way that leads you to another pattern, something new and something better.

It’s true, life is full of rough edges and full of pain and nobody is exempt from these realities. But I hope you find the solitude of your haven in order to pull the tattered edges of your soul together again.

Worry about tomorrow when it comes. I know youโ€™re getting there.

Move on to the next chapter of your life, bringing wonderful memories with you, the experiences that would teach you and help you shape your future. It will be very difficult but in life, nothing is ever easy.

You see, you are given a wonderful gift: LIFE. At times, itโ€™s cruelly taken away too soon, but itโ€™s what you do with it that counts, not how long it lasts.

My Rendezvous With Life

My Rendezvous With Life

The treacherous waters of existence hail in their stride,As the beauty of sailing against the winds uproars in its ride.Benevolence in its yonder stirs the mirth of the true,Navigating the turbulent waves, death and I had a rendezvous.

I sought the beauty of the light that was unseen,In the depths of my muse, I found my world within.Life in its flair, trudged me into the emblems of the dark,The dreams that perspired in the seed embraced their death,As it was time for a new quest to embark.

Quaint whispers that echoed in their gallant stance,The jeers that surmounted the uncertainty galloped in their dance.Silencing the wind, bestriding the fall,I plunged into the entirety of my endeavours that call

The Beauty Of Gratitude In A World Full Of Cynicism

The Beauty Of Gratitude In A World Full Of Cynicism

Ever acquainted with the phrase that the world that you exist in, the life that you embody dwells in the perception of the stance you hold for yourself. The beauty and the tragedy of life is that it is as beautiful as the optimistic lens of perception and as ugly as the pessimistic view of your being.

The strive of our endeavours and the constant effort to achieve the next massive milestone often drive us to the edges of insanity, to be in the consistent light of greatness we lose sight of the great strings of joy that bind our existence together. To be the best we have ever been we must be mindful of the best we are. I Breathe In The Sauntering Air That Collapses My Being

I breathe in the sauntering air that collapses my being,I breathe through the crevices of my existence unseen.Uncertainty in its yonder strikes in bolt on the scars that nobody sees,Redemption that loves, redemption that is free, find me in the depths of my poetry.

Tales of lust ridden in smeared touches that belie,Entreated with envy, the visions of victory lie.To be or not to be in a question that yet lies,For I yearn for a world where fond passion never dies.

Enclasped in the cage of the deemed duty,Bounded in her vows, she forgot she was a thing of beauty. In a realm we live, where amour in its truth fails to stand tall,She, tired of her existence, submerges herself into the beauty that her dreams enthrall.

Chaos in its uproar hails in its darkness
