Memories of old home visit me often,
It bewilders me what lies there that causes me to soften.
The loneliness in these times eats you inside out,
It brings the smiles back when there’s doubt;
Living back to the start where it all began,
The time I spent with my loved ones rolls on once again.
Like a free soul I move to every corner of my home,
Feeling the warmth of the memories stored there as if it lies in a dome;
Flashes and glimpses of loved ones occur every now and then,
Making the bond as if I am their only brethren.
As I share this with you, some will think of me as a fool,
For its not me, as I have melt “I”, and stay cool!
