Sometimes Love Just Isn’t Enough

Sometimes Love Just Isn't Enough

Sometimes Love Just Isn’t Enough

Giving your heart and baring your soul
Can leave you open for heartbreak once more
It’s better to listen to the good advice
Some people do know better and are very very wise
If you do not heed warnings from within
You can open your life to strife once again
There are some among us which know nothing of love
Yet they play their role well, their mask fits like a glove
They rush in & share with you their hopes & their dreams
They are beautiful creatures, so at first this may seem
Yet this one is different, itโ€™s all just their game
Searching for themselves what they might be able to gain
As if in a tornado, you are swept off your feet
Before you know it, you are in very deep
Your love is so real and you are amazed
How God brought you together during this life phase
The beautiful words flow so freely you will see
You are special like they are, two pure souls you and he (or she)
God is the center and will always be
One day soon you realize there is no โ€œusโ€ only โ€œmeโ€
Everything is so wonderful, life is so grand
Until you question, this near perfect plan
The edges begin to unravel, the pieces donโ€™t quite fit
This puzzle is fuzzy but we cannot quit!
I will do anything to prove how I feel
Buy you things to show my love is real
Please donโ€™t go Iโ€™m sorry for what was done
Even though I donโ€™t know what it was, please donโ€™t run
Donโ€™t you dare question or I will tear you up and
Leave you wondering if your own thoughts are right
Taking each word and ripping them apart
You begin to see the devil within his own heart
Twisting and turning and stabbing your soul
This is their kind of love, their only real goal
They need, they want, they are victims of life
Before you know it, you’re buried beneath all their lies
They twist all your thoughts, play with your mind
They shut you out and love making you cry
You love and you give, you buy and you try
But for this type of person, you must strive to go higher
Then, just like that, everything is good again
You question your own sanity, while he sits there and grins
Holding you closely, sweet words are now spewed
Trying to sooth you and keep you confused
This is the game of this tortuous soul
Needing you so they can gain all control
Then just as quickly as it all began
They walk away leaving you torn all over again
This time it didnโ€™t work, the devious plan
I let him keep walking, I stopped holding his hand
Life is not easy when you fall for this type
But one day you realize all they are full of is just hype
The healing from this kind of abuse you will find
Is long and painful and leaves you aching and confined
To the unending thoughts they swirl up in your brain
Everyday darkened as if the rain of tears will never end
The pain is deeper than your gut has ever felt
This type of torture my soul has never dealt
It hurts just to think, it hurts just to breathe
It hurts to realize they can walk away with such ease
As the time slowly passes and you accept whatโ€™s been done
You can begin to see why you were once advised to run
Run before you fall in love with this perfection
Of the narcissistic world and all their confection
When itโ€™s too good to be true step back try to see
How exactly did you end up here with nothing but me
Take things slow and when things start to get rough
Remember these words

My Rendezvous With Life

My Rendezvous With Life

The treacherous waters of existence hail in their stride,As the beauty of sailing against the winds uproars in its ride.Benevolence in its yonder stirs the mirth of the true,Navigating the turbulent waves, death and I had a rendezvous.

I sought the beauty of the light that was unseen,In the depths of my muse, I found my world within.Life in its flair, trudged me into the emblems of the dark,The dreams that perspired in the seed embraced their death,As it was time for a new quest to embark.

Quaint whispers that echoed in their gallant stance,The jeers that surmounted the uncertainty galloped in their dance.Silencing the wind, bestriding the fall,I plunged into the entirety of my endeavours that call

The Beauty Of Gratitude In A World Full Of Cynicism

Ever acquainted with the phrase that the world that you exist in, the life that you embody dwells in the perception of the stance you hold for yourself. The beauty and the tragedy of life is that it is as beautiful as the optimistic lens of perception and as ugly as the pessimistic view of your being.

The strive of our endeavours and the constant effort to achieve the next massive milestone often drive us to the edges of insanity, to be in the consistent light of greatness we lose sight of the great strings of joy that bind our existence together. I Breathe In The Sauntering Air That Collapses My Being

I Breathe In The Sauntering Air That Collapses My Being

I breathe in the sauntering air that collapses my being,I breathe through the crevices of my existence unseen.Uncertainty in its yonder strikes in bolt on the scars that nobody sees,Redemption that loves, redemption that is free, find me in the depths of my poetry.

Tales of lust ridden in smeared touches that belie,Entreated with envy, the visions of victory lie.To be or not to be in a question that yet lies,For I yearn for a world where fond passion never dies.

Enclasped in the cage of the deemed duty,Bounded in her vows, she forgot she was a thing of beauty. In a realm we live, where amour in its truth fails to stand tall,She, tired of her existence, submerges herself into the beauty that her dreams enthrall.

Chaos in its uproar hails in its darkness
