Life Of A Phoenix
I want that burden lifted,
I wanted you to glow.
I desire for your compression to become an accordion,
And the notes will raise the dead spirits to burn into the sun.
The blackened lungs will collapse,
And I will breathe the life of a phoenix into you.
Newly birthed oxygen will then flow into your bloodstream,
To begin to heal the cancerous cells.
You are not new but your age will no longer ache,
It will soar.
As the wind clings on to your skin,
Fresh rain will wash away the seeds kept from being planted.
I will wait at the gates of your hidden garden,
I discovered through your eyes,
For you to be born again.
