I am fine

I am fine

I’m not fine as in fine, but fine as in you don’t have to worry about me.

  1. It is such a nice page.. you can talk to people even you don't know them ,you feel like you are not alone even you are only by yourself, a good page for venting emotions and expressing ideas likewise exchanging it too. Thanks Tmj.

  2. What's funny is that people ask you at the grocery store or in retail or throughout your day: "How are you today?" or something of the sort. And I always answer them truthfully. People are taken aback. It made me think about how people *don't* really want the answer….they just say it as a courtesy or greeting without really wanting to know the answer. How many times in life do we do this? Speak with intention. Answer honestly. I won't just say "fine" if I'm not. (I keep it short….ha….but I tell them!) Is that obnoxious? I much prefer this approach: "I'm fine….you don't have to worry about me." To those who we are close to, obviously. Keep it to the point. πŸ™‚

    1. Guess what, now that I read what you wrote, makes me feel bad about myself. Evn I remember asking people hw are they, and when they told me about them, I was like, why are you telling me that!

  3. I don't know what else to say. People don't really want to hear beyond that and sometimes I do and sometimes I don't want to explain things.

Tell me other things to say that would work and I'll say them.

If people really want to know how you are, they'll get together with you and ask. If they don't, then, you have the "How are you?"/"Fine" exchange.

  4. When I tell someone I'm fine, it usually means I'm uncomfortable with discussing myself with you. I dont really use that term that often. If you are genuinely concerned, I will be honest.
