I know I’m an Indigo since I was 14. And I was aware that I am a empath since I was a child. I was considered a prodygy child, with very high I. Q. and a fantastic understanding of foreign languages and the 3d dimension (a psychology dr. was stunned because, at 5 years old, I could read and wright in my native language and Italian, without mistakes, and that I drew a bicicle leaned on a wall with the front tyre turned slightly on the left… That are the things I remember. There was more. I remember her calling her colegue and showing her my writing and drawing. She was explaining to my mother how very sorry she is because in our country (then- Yugoslavia) there are no schools or programs for ‘advanced and special’ children like me. And short after that – like I was cursed. One disaster after another. Now I’m 48 and fighting depression for 31 years. No standard medications ever worked. When I have a good day, I am writing (poetry mostly, and traducing it), drawing, painting, makin unique jewellery, learning yet another language (Portuguese), reading (still very curious), listen to music (which I always loved)… When I was younger (untill 25) I, being always idealistic, worked on culture projects in my hometown, was a speaker and author on the radio, wrote in many papers, local and more, and in musical jorunals. I organised events and alternative music concerts, eventhough a civil war was raging. After I even entered in politics, although I don’t like the premices it works on nowadys, I saw no real option for our young country, so I joined a socialist party. They (a large number of ‘left orientated’ parties) were supposed to get together and become a true oppossion, but I was so dissapointed and outraged that They couldn’t agree on the party program! Socialists? I immediatley got ‘out’. I was a fighter for what’s just and for freedom and for the wright to be different. Live and let live. Love and let love. Believe i your heart’s voice. But life and my way of noticing and understanding too much too quickly, led me to become so filled with sorrow. So sad. So lonesome. I feel I am paralysed by the wheight on my heart and soul and mind, that I barely get up in the morning. Many times I cannot. I am slipping away with no one to give me a helping hand. And me, alone, just can’t fight anymore…
I know i wrote a lot, but for me it comes so easy. Like I had to pour some of my tears i to this Words. Yes. I am sure that I am a Indigo. But one who couldn’t survive surrounded by so much evil and nonsens and decieving. Another Indigo ‘super power’ – we can recognize when we are lied to before the lie finishes to unfold. But most of the times, we leave it be, and give people more and more chances. But we remember a lot… I don’t know if anyone will read this, but if someone does, I hope it helps, or at least conforts and maybe even teach someone how to evoid some mistakes I made. I would be very glad if that person contacted me. I have a lot more to tell… Thank you.
