We were two inseparable shadows
Of the distant past
We were two daylilies kissing in meadows
That withered away so fast.
We were two alike spirits
Flying through time and space
We were two atoms fused by hits
To form an alchemy just out of place.
We were two homogenous minds
That dreamt together a big hope
We were two ideas of similar kinds
To weave a thought fleeting like a dope.
We were two cognate souls above
That wanted to leave the earth together
Do you still call it a love?
That was only ephemeral like a fair-weather.
