It Doesn't Interest Me If The Story You Are Telling Me Is True

It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself. If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. – Oriah Mountain Dreamer

  1. Yes, believe it comes with the forgiveness of self. Believe it accompanies becoming comfortable with ALL the parts of oneself and in doing so as if a crusader being determined to protect oneself more than being determined to disappoint another person. Disappointing someone else does not mean being mean to them in any way, simply means self love, self care.

  2. If you've ever had to break up with someone because you knew you didn't have the same feelings for them anymore, even though you knew they'd be hurt by that truth, you've done this.
